As of today, a link to this blog comes up in the #1 position on Google for “Crossbow Terrorism”. As anyone in the search engine game will tell you, this coveted position is priceless.

I could use this exposure to sell adwords advertising for crossbows, and probably get rich in the process. I’m not going to though. You probably think I’m crazy, but I realize that many of the people who will find the link are terrorists who are arming themselves against our forces. I know they’ll likely find their weaponry elsewhere and my limited involvement would probably not make much a difference, but I could not look myself in the mirror knowing that my blog had in any way endangered our men and women in uniform.

I hope some of you will read this and think very carefully about the products that you allow to be featured on your site.
