We found another researched to fill the missing slot on our trip, so if anyone was going to ask to go at the last minute I’m afraid you’re out of luck. I’m leaving for the airport in about an hour and expect to have great success on this trip. God-willing you’ll be reading about me in the newspaper on Monday after we confirm the existence of this fantastic animal.

Though it won’t slow us down, we found out that some of our gear was stolen from a storage unit. Mostly non-essential equipment like camp supplies, camo and a few gallons deer urine, which we cover ourselves and gear with to hide our scent.
