After months of slow progress, October proved to be one of the deadliest in Iraq. November is shaping up to be another successful month for US forces with 140 bodies found around Iraq over the last three days. If we can keep up this progress, their won’t be any insurgents left to kill for too much longer.

Nice to see the new Democratic government hasn’t slowed down the conservative machine.

  1. President Bush had a plan from the time of his election to correct for posterity the mistake of his father in not finishing the job in Iraq. What could a little pissant country do against the mighty USA? Now he will not back down no matter what the cost in blood, tears, or money in order to protect his self image for poserity. The people of Iraq have no real concept of being free and self government as they are still living in the ignorance of the middle ages. Kill your neighbor if not of the same identical religous belief. Beat and treat your women like dirt. Keep them stupid. America should leave these people to sort matters out in whatever way they choose. American blood is too precious to waste on matters that should not concern us. America must learn that we should not and can not police the world! Our founding fathers must be spinning in their graves. George Washington said in 1796; “Tis our policy to steer clear of permanent alliances, with any portion of the world…”, Thomas Jefferson stated in 1799; “Commerce with all nations, alliance with none, should be our motto…”, and again in 1801 Thomas Jefferson said; “I deem one of the essential principles of our government to be peace, commerce, and honest freindship with all nations, entangling alliances with none…”! Bring our over extended armed forces home. Take good care of our veterans. Use the money we were spending on the Iraq war to balance our budget. Take care of America and Americans above all else. If this communication inclines you to call me names, know that I’m a decorated veteran of six years honorable active service, half in foreign duty. I have earned the right to express myself, unlike many. We must fight only when its right! Wotan

  2. I’m not sure why you would think I’d have any reason to call you names. It sounds to me that we’re pretty much on the same page at a basic level, you may be just a little more extreme than most on certain issues.

I agree (as do most) that Iraq is a backwards place that lives in the dark ages. They had some progressive views of women for a time, but they’ve begun to let those become more traditional in recent years. I am not sure that I’d agree with your statement that we should Kill our neighbors if they are not of the identical religion, but I do highly question their relevance in our society if they aren’t Christian. Rather than killing them, we could have them deported, or in some cases put in prisons.

I also think you are slightly out of line that you should beat women, that implies that you should simply strike a woman for no reason, that is not the case for women or anyone else. If you have a reason to strike someone, it should be important, it doesn’t matter if it’s a man or a woman. I also don’t think you can just “keep women stupid”, we have seen in the past that they can be quite educated and intelligent, most don’t rise to this level, but they should have the chance just like most minority groups.

I guess if I had to pick a name to call you, it would be “patriot”
