In a seemingly unimaginable switch of sides by the leader of one of the world’s greatest religious organizations, Pope Benedict has chosen to pray to a god outside of his previous Christian faith. I’m sure Osama is smiling in his cave at this news.
This is a sad day for Catholicism and a good reminder to those who seek Christ that he may not always be found within the walls of a church. Sometimes the only place to find him is in your heart or online.
