I don’t have much time to post tonight since it’s Valentine’s Day, which is one of the three days every year that I allow my wife to put off her evening chores until the next day. Tonight we’re spending some time together watching television.

I wanted to cover this news article about a piece of proposed Tennessee legislation that would require aborted fetuses to have death certificates. On the surface I think we can all agree this is a great idea, but if you think about what will happen, you’ll see that we shouldn’t be so quick to give this a big thumbs up.

The problem with this idea is that the sort of people who are pro-abortion, are proud of their murderous tendencies. Providing a death certificate for an abortion is like giving them a special souvenir that they can save and collect. Rather than discouraging people from getting abortions, you’ll actually be giving them another reason to do so. Instead of a sign on the corner of an intersection, the lesbians will now have a handsome piece of paper to proudly display in their living rooms.
