I feel as though my brilliance, and my blog, could eventually undo the very things I am fighting for.

Last week I posted this about John Edwards and his wife’s alleged cancer. Evidently one of them (or someone on their staff) read my article, because yesterday they responded on 60 Minutes, saying that people should not cast a sympathetic vote during the next election.

It’s still early in the campaign and I think we can still overcome this. But if I find that much more of what I say here is influencing the election, I may not be so quick to post my findings but instead offer my expertise directly to the candidates.
