Sun Tzu, the Japanese self-help author wrote, “You can stop the Samurai from going to battle, but you can’t keep him from being a Samurai!” I’m paraphrasing as I haven’t read the book in a few years, but that’s basically what he said. What it means is that if you’re a warrior, you’re always a warrior. It’s like when those magical homos Seigbert and Roy got eaten by one of their lions a few years ago after they tried to domesticate it. It just doesn’t work.

Animals like to kill, it’s as simple as that. It’s what they were trained to do and it’s the only thing that brings them joy. Take a look at any small-breed dog, they look miserable. It’s because they sit around all day with nothing to do, wishing they were big enough to fight.

Michael Vick was persecuted as a monster rather than being honored as an animal liberator. A man who brought hope to many pit bulls who would otherwise have spent their lives licking their sacks like their non-fighting sisified bretheren in the dog world. Once proud fighting machines, these brave animals have been put out to pasture in my former home-state, Utah.

It’s a sad day when these great animals are not allowed to participate in the sport they once loved.
