Apologies for the lack of posts lately, my primary typing fingers were injured in a tractor accident that not only damaged my digits but also crushed my smaller testicle in three places—making it very difficult to stay focused on anything other than the excruciating pain and repulsive genital discoloration.

I’ve had the same Ford Econoline van since I moved to America. I love this van probably more than I love my wife or children…maybe not more, but certainly as much. I’ve replaced the engine twice, painted it a few times—most recently camouflage. Typically my wife works on our vans, but she’s been building a blacksmithing forge in the yard for the last few weeks and there’s a new problem with the van.

Given the gas prices recently and the fact that the liberals are unreasonably apposed to invading additional oil producing countries, I decided to do something to help the V8 get better mileage. Thinking back to previous droughts in this area I remembered a technique of inserting a brick in the tank of the toilet. Since I couldn’t figure out how to get a brick in the gas tank of the van I poured some gravel into the tank. Now the van won’t start.

Sorry to use this blog as a soap box for my personal vehicular issues…but I need to get this van going and I can’t afford to take my wife off the forge-building project until she’s finished. Is there some sort of plug in the gas tank I can unscrew and empty the gravel from the tank? Also, what should I put in the tank to accomplish this task other than gravel?

I need to get this bad boy back on the road, where he or she belongs! Even though someone in my neighborhood keeps painting “Rapist Van” over the camo (if you’re reading this, you’re in for a surprise the next time you show up to vandalize my van!)

As a practicing Jedi I spend a lot of time explaining what it is that I believe and how the Star Wars saga fits in with Jediism—especially when I go out wearing my full Jedi tunic. This may sound like it would get tiresome after awhile, but I feel as though I am a Jedi missionary in many ways. I am given the opportunity to evangelize and I know that a percentage of the people I talk to will get the message and will possibly be compelled to find out more about Jediism—or possibly pay me a small fee to take their photo with me in my Jedi regalia. Short of that, they may eventually be in a position to defend the name of the Jedi and call upon some of the wisdom I am able to bestow upon them during our short exchange. Ideally if enough people become familiarized with the Jedi and their beliefs, the Jedi movement will become accepted in the mainstream—and, God willing, tax exempt like Scientology.

One of the differences between my personal beliefs in The Force, and the beliefs of many other Jediism followers, is that mine are deeply woven in with the “fictional” Star Wars universe. Many other Jedi only draw superficial parallels between reality and George Lucas’ vision of Star Wars. I believe that George Lucas was either privy to some information about the ways of the universe that we are not, or at the very least was divinely inspired. I can’t simply believe that a work of “fiction” so flawlessly executed as the Star Wars epics was a simple exercise in creativity.

There are many similarities in my life to the life of Luke Skywalker. From my upbringing in a repressed society, to my uncanny skills in battle, to my wife—who I believe I may be related to much as Luke was related to Leia (I’ve begun researching our genealogy and the more I discover, the more it looks like my wife and I are closely related). As you no doubt know by now, I believe that everything happens for a reason. I can name many things throughout my life have brought me closer to the Jedi path, and many other things have reinforced my decision since becoming a Jedi.

I keep my eyes open to parallels that can be drawn between the realities we know to be real, and the realities of the Star Wars universe. Recently, I’ve been researching the many “coincidences” between the early scenes in Star Wars on the planet Tatooine and the location surrounding Noah’s Ark atop Mt. Ararat.

Though by no means the total sum of my research, I’ve taken a moment and thrown together an image for you to see a few points of similarity between the two locations. You can clearly see from the satellite photo taken by Keyhole-9 in 1973 that there are not only some interesting geographical similarities between the locations, but there are also MANY other specific items of interest that match George Lucas’ product exactly.

In the image below you can see not only the Valley where Luke encountered the savage Tuscan Raiders, but also the location of Old Ben’s home (#4). The crater where R2D2 and C3P0 landed their escape pod is visible as well (#3). Directly to the left of the craters, you will find what could either be the tracks of a Sand Crawler (possibly the same one that picked up R2 & 3P0 in the desert), or the spine of the Drayt Dragon (#2). Obviously the item at the peak of the mountain (#1) is what we all know to be the final resting place of Noah’s Ark.

Star Wars fans will no doubt quickly see the Sarlacc pit, The Mos Eisley Space Port, and even the small ranch dwelling that the Skywalker’s called home.

I could accept that some of these items are coincidences, but to take a look at a single unedited satellite photo and easily find this many recognizable landmarks seems like too much to simply be chance.

I don’t have a lot of time to write today, so I’m going to post a short story I wrote elsewhere about an experience I had that I think about every day.

I grew up in communist Russia. During my teens, I was dating a girl who worked in a factory that made napkins. In the town that I lived in growing up, there were really only a few places the adults could work, and even fewer places for the youth to work. It was very rare in most of the country for family members to work together, but my girlfriend and her mother worked side-by-side making napkins. She and her mother were often called “the twins” since they looked so similar. I won’t lie when I say that during those years of “change” I felt somewhat attracted to both of them. I feel guilt about it to this day, but can’t logically accept responsibility for teenage fantasy.

The time I was actually able to spend with my girlfriend was very brief. We both had family responsibilities and our jobs required our attention as well. The little time we had together we did what most teenagers in love do, I’m sure I don’t need to elaborate much for you to understand we made love.

We “dated” (though the idea of dating is different in a communist society, it’s referred to as “courting”, which is just spending time together) for a few years. I came home from work one day and knew something was wrong. My aunt and uncle, who I lived with, were acting very strangely. I asked them what was wrong and they just told me to do my chores. Once my chores were done, I asked permission to go meet my girlfriend. That’s when they told me that she had been killed in a fire at the napkin plant, with her mother.

In that culture it would have been considered a sign of weakness to show emotion. I was forced to put on a happy face and continue about my routine. A little piece of me died in that fire though, the two women I was most attracted to were both killed.

Years later when I came to the United States, I tried very hard to put my past behind me. Society here encourages us to live our emotions, so it was very difficult for me to forget what had happened. Eventually I began dating again and met a special girl, who is now my wife. Even though we liked each other a lot I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was somehow “cheating” on my true loves by moving on and getting married. When I told my wife how I felt, she became very upset. I explained to her that I couldn’t control my feelings about the women I’d lost in the fire and she was lucky I told her anyway, since it’s really none of her business how I feel. Eventually we just agreed not to talk about it.

The thoughts and smells of that day haunt me still, but one event allowed me to move forward and know that the two women who I’d loved so much had forgiven me for leaving Russia, and then, and encouraged me to move on with only the fond memories of our short time together. The event I’m referring to happened at my wedding. I almost called the whole thing off because I’d been fighting with my fiance for days before when I told her that even though I loved her, I’d always love the women who died in Russia even more. We decided that since everything was paid for and the guests had already arranged to come, we’d go through with the wedding, but probably just get a divorce later that day (we ended up staying married).

At the wedding something amazing happened. As we said our vows, I heard a commotion behind me and turned to see that a small fire had occurred on one of the picnic tables. It was quickly extinguished, but after the ceremony I went over to see what had happened. A stack of napkins had been placed too close to a candle and had ignited. The entire stack of napkins had burned, something my mother in law said shouldn’t happen as most napkins are flame retardant. I remembered back to the napkin factory fire and was reminded of yet another difference between our two countries. In Russia, the napkins aren’t flame retarded like they are here. It made me sad for awhile, but then I started to think about it.

I’d kept a few love-notes that my dead girlfriend had written me while she was working. I took one of the napkins from our wedding and discovered the embossing patterns were identical. I contacted the wedding planner and asked them where they got the napkins, after a few phone calls I discovered that the napkins were purchased from a distributor in China…but they were made in the same Russian town I grew up in.

Once I found this out I broke down crying (well, I doubt I actually wept, but I was very emotional). It seemed like everything had come full circle, the harmless fire at my wedding had been a message from my girlfriend and her mother that it was OK that I put my past in the past and move forward with my life.

To this day I wish I would have ended up with my old girlfriend or her mother, but I know that they’re both watching over me and protecting me. I am sure I’ll see them again, but until then I’m going to stay focused on my time here on Earth with the wife I ended up with and make the best of it.

So far, I’ve primarily kept to national/global stories and stayed away from stories that are local only to me and other Utahns. There’s been a lot going on lately in the greatest state in the union, so I’ll be posting a few nuggets of info that will be valuable to everyone, but especially interesting to others in this state.

I’ve always said that Utah is a few years ahead of the times, and if you want to know what’s going to be happening in a few years in other states, just look at Utah today.

It may seem to be a little late in the game for this post, but I’m finding a lot of comments being posted questioning my authority on a given topic, or even wondering what the purpose of this site is. I’ll be updating the “about” section of the site soon, but thought I’d take an opportunity to post some information to help clarify a few things about this site, my intent, and where it’s all going.

The wonderful thing about the internet is that it gives the common man as much of a voice as major news outlets. What I’ve been able to do with fixd is to shine a spotlight of honesty on the truth for the world to see—wherever I may find it, and however hard it may sometimes be to tell.

It’s hard for me to say what the global impact of this blog has been, or will be. I’m sure it’s saved a few lives, I’m sure it’s made a few people stop and think about what’s important and how we can protect ourselves or even kill those who would try to stop us from having what’s important. It’s difficult to say how many, or how often, but just knowing it’s made that difference fuels my fire.

Some people may think of me as a hero, but I’m no more special than some of you. I prefer to think of myself as just an extraordinary common man who happens to be fairly intelligent and also has a blog. Hopefully you can use me and my accomplishments as inspiration in your own life, or at least gain some valuable knowledge by reading through some of my insightful writings throughout this site.

I’ve tackled some difficult subjects here. Things people would prefer not to think about—things some people refuse to believe. Regardless of how you feel about a subject I’ve covered, you can come to this site and know that I’ve thought through all angles and arrived at a conclusion that is the correct one.

I will never stop delivering the truth through this site. If for some reason this site ever goes away, know that I’ve either been killed or imprisoned, probably by terrorists or some liberal attack force. If that happens, please just expose the truth and carry on my work. I’ve gone into this blog with open eyes and understand the risks.

Sorry for the recent lapse in posts, I spent a few days in the hospital. Don’t worry, though, I’m fine.

It’s a health issue I’ve dealt with for years, my best guess is that it’s somehow related to a medical examination I experienced during an abduction by extra-terrestrials. I’ve blogged about this before, but I think it’s important to bring it up from time to time so that others who have had the same experience can see there is no need to feel shame about any damage that has been done to them during these events. In my case, I get recurring bouts of complete sphincter paralysis, which causes my bowels to evacuate their contents without my control.

This form of paralysis is a rare problem that not many adbuctees have to deal with. There are a lot of cases of people experiencing simple discomfort, memory failure, or even erectile disfunction. There’s a reason that the Lord saddled me with the burden of sphincter paralysis, and I have the feeling it may be this blog and my ability to be a role model to others in similar circumstances.

Let’s face it, the media has changed. Blogs today have replaced newspapers and magazines. Being part of the fascinating world of blogging has many rewards. It’s not quite as glamorous as you might imagine, but it’s not entirely unglamorous either.

Aside from the fame and eventual fortune, there is also danger associated with being in the media. Earlier this year we saw that Russian reporter get killed, today we read about the editor of PC World magazine being shot in his home.

Sometimes I have to question if it’s all worth it, but in the end I know I’m doing important work here and the dangers associated with it are a small price that I must pay to do what I was put on Earth to do—blog.

I haven’t formulated a cohesive theory about this yet, but am I the only one who thinks it’s a little bit convenient that the patriarch of the Republican party just happened to die less than two years before the next presidential election?

Without Gerald Fords experience and leadership, the democrats gain a slight tactical advantage during the next election.

I’m not saying either way, but if I were a liberal I wouldn’t exactly be mourning the passing of this man. In fact, if I were a liberal, I probably would have already thought of several ways I could have expedited this event—perhaps someone did more than just THINK?
