As the saying goes, “Only God controls the weather and taxes.” This was never more true than in 1999 when an F2 tornado went ripping through downtown Salt Lake city, damaging two gay bars before killing a man and then crossing town to level a park known to be a meeting place for homosexuals. Clearly a message was being sent to the community.
I often find myself searching for the less obvious messages being sent by God through the weather. The recent closing of what most of us consider to be an incredibly valuable education establishment due to weather is one of those occurrences that leave me wondering what the lesson is.
